Beautiful scooper - goes nicely with my kitchen color scheme! Nice grip on the handle and it indeed scoops well. I bought it two years ago and have used it frequently. I don't own a dishwasher, so it's always been hand washed. It recently developed a couple of small "pits' on the back of the scoop that are a bit sharp. For the price, I will probably order a new one - two years at that price is better than a similarly priced grocery store model.
