Although I attended the U of Minnesota, I’m a woodsy girl at heart. Or maybe I’m an adventurer—having lived and traveled all over the world, including Siberia, Russia as a missionary for eight years.     The second book in this series pulls you in and holds you captive. Once started you just have to keep turning the page to see what happens next. I love the way that Susan May Warren weaves the threads from each story to create a larger tapestry. This book has wonderful characters, action, and mystery that keeps you hooked. It also has a secondary story about trusting GOD and not your own often flawed perception of what is going on. Highly recommend this book and this series.

    Ms Warren has done it again with a fantastic book filled with danger, suspense, and a bit of romance. There are twists and turns to the story that rival any Agatha Christy novel. Penelope has her Podcast where she is trying to delve into an unsolved murder. Conrad plays on the Blue Ox hockey team. They met at a friend’s wedding in an earlier book. With their publicist setting up a fake dating scenario to increase social media, they become close. They soon become embroiled in trying to solve the mystery of who was responsible for Sarah’s death when more bodies are added to the fray. Will they be next?

    Like all of Susan's books that I have read so far, I really enjoyed this book too! I love how so many of her books are interconnected so that the readers can see what some of our favorite characters from previous books are up to. Conrad concludes the main "mystery" from the previous book, Jack, and with a culprit I certainly didn't see coming!
