If youโ€™re in need of Valentineโ€™s Day dessert recipes, look no further. I have you covered!

    Fan-Favorite Valentineโ€™s Day Dessert Recipes

    White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Bars

Easier and quicker than a full cheesecake, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake bars are creamy, sweet, and swirled with layers of homemade fresh raspberry sauce. Theyโ€™re baked in a 9-inch square pan and sit on an Oreo cookie crust.

    Mini Vanilla Pound Cakes

These adorable mini vanilla pound cakes are moist, flavorful, and wonderfully buttery. If you donโ€™t have a mini Bundt cake pan, use mini loaf pans or even a regular loaf panโ€”see recipe Note.

    Chocolate Raspberry Cake

Thereโ€™s so much to love about this ultra-rich chocolate raspberry cake. Layers of moist dark chocolate sponge, silky chocolate buttercream, and homemade raspberry cake filling are enrobed in a luxurious chocolate raspberry ganache.

    Frosted Sugar Cookie Bars

Top these sugar cookie bars with pink frosting and load them up with Valentineโ€™s Day sprinkles. People go ABSOLUTELY NUTS whenever I make them. And theyโ€™re pretty easy, too!

    Red Velvet Cake

Red velvet cake is the queen of layer cakes. My homemade recipe yields a buttery cake with hints of vanilla and cocoa flavors, all topped with tangy cream cheese frosting.

    Homemade Strawberry Cake

Packed with strawberry flavor, this homemade strawberry cake has strawberries inside the cake and in the frosting too. 100% real ingredientsโ€”no boxed mix here!

    Triple Chocolate Cake

This is my favorite homemade chocolate cake recipe. With a super moist crumb and fudgy, yet light texture, this chocolate cake recipe will soon be your favorite too.

    Easy Cheesecake Pie

This cheesecake pie is perfect for cheesecake lovers who want a quicker, easier alternative to making a classic cheesecake. The smooth and creamy filling is made with just 6 simple ingredients, and thereโ€™s no water bath step required. (And you donโ€™t need a springform pan, either!)

    Sparkle Sweetheart Cookies

Fun and festive sparkle sweetheart cookies glisten with Valentineโ€™s Day sprinkles and a chocolate heart nestled on top. This simple cream cheese drop-style sugar cookie dough requires just 30โ€“60 minutes of chilling before baking. Or use chocolate hearts on these chocolate cherry blossoms for another nut-free cookie option.

    Peanut Butter Sweethearts

And a peanut butter version, too! Soft-baked and extra thick peanut butter Valentineโ€™s Day cookies are loaded with chocolate-peanut butter flavor. Theyโ€™re like my peanut butter blossoms, now all dressed up for Valentineโ€™s Day.

    Valentineโ€™s Day Heart Sugar Cookies

Homemade Valentineโ€™s Day cookies are as cute as conversation heart candiesโ€ฆ but are much more delicious to eat! Use my beloved sugar cookies recipe as the base and top with royal icing. Craving a chocolate version? Use this recipe for chocolate sugar cookies and follow the same decorating steps.

Soft Cream Cheese Cookies With Nutella Glaze

These soft cream cheese cut-out cookies with Nutella glaze are truly the softest sugar cookies. The dough is easy to work with, the cookies hold their shape beautifully, and each bite is smooth and creamy. An added bonus is that the Nutella glaze sets on top, making the cookies convenient for stacking, storing, and gifting.

    White Chocolate Red Velvet Cookies

Made from scratch, these white chocolate red velvet cookies are soft and chewy, simple to make, and totally festive. Dunk in pure white chocolate and top with colorful sprinkles.

    Chocolate Raspberry Crinkles

Just like chocolate crinkles, but with the added flavor of real raspberries these chocolate raspberry crinkles are soft-baked and chewy, deeply rich and fudgy, and coated in a raspberry-confectionersโ€™ sugar topping that melts in your mouth.

    Chocolate Lava Cakes

Molten chocolate lava cakes are the ultimate chocolate dessert indulgence. Top each warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Youโ€™ll be surprised at how quickly this reader-favorite dessert comes together. (Psstโ€ฆ peanut butter lovers: try these peanut butter chocolate lava cakes!)

    Homemade Chocolate Truffles

Ditch the boxed chocolates this Valentineโ€™s Day and make homemade chocolate truffles. These extra creamy truffles come together with just 4 simple ingredients.

    Chocolate Fudge Cakes for 2

This small-batch recipe yields just 2 chocolate fudge cakesโ€ฆ one for you and one for your sweetheart or best friend/kid/sibling/parent/any chocolate lover in your life.

    Red Velvet Layer Bars

These red velvet layer bars are everything you love about classic 7-layer bars, but theyโ€™re baked on top of a red velvet cookie crust. These loaded bars are extra chewy, gooey, buttery, and sweet!

    Chocolate Cake Pops

Kids and adults alike love chocolate cake pops (and vanilla cake pops). Top with sprinkles for a festive touch! For best results, start this recipe the night before.

    Sweetheart Swirl Chocolate Bark

3-ingredient sweetheart swirl bark is wildly festive and incredibly simple to make. Made from semi-sweet chocolate and white chocolate tinted pink, the two are swirled together and topped with candy hearts and Valentineโ€™s Day sprinkles.

    4-Ingredient Oreo Balls

Oreo balls are a super easy and downright irresistible 4-ingredient chocolate treat you can make at home. Choose regular, golden, or another flavor of Oreo cookies, mix with a little cream cheese, and dunk in white or dark chocolate.

    5-Ingredient Strawberry Cheesecake Truffles

Easy strawberry cheesecake truffles come together with cream cheese, confectionersโ€™ sugar, fresh strawberries, white chocolate, and graham crackers. Cheesecake is now a finger food!

    Champagne Cake Roll

This light and spongey champagne cake roll is flavored with reduced sparkling wine and vanilla. Fill with champagne whipped cream to make an extra sparkly and celebratory dessert! Or if chocolate is more your speed, see my chocolate cake roll.

    Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cupcakes

To make these chocolate covered strawberry cupcakes, make this recipe for extra moist chocolate cupcakes, fill them with sweet strawberry buttercream, and top them with rich chocolate ganache.

    Valentineโ€™s Day โ€œCupidโ€ Cupcakes

Festive Valentineโ€™s Day cupcakes are the ultimate declaration of love: strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla all in one! Fill with Nutella and garnish with a chocolate heart for an eye-catching Valentineโ€™s Day treat.

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bars

Seriously indulgent and creamy, these chocolate peanut butter cheesecake bars are like eating a peanut butter cup in cheesecake form. You can top with red and pink sprinkles for a festive touch.

    White Chocolate Strawberry Cupcakes

Extra fluffy white chocolate strawberry cupcakes combine creamy white chocolate and real strawberries. Reduced strawberry puree and freeze-dried strawberries are the secrets to the real (nothing artificial!) strawberry flavor.

    Creamy Small Batch Cheesecake

Thick and rich creamy small batch cheesecake is baked in a loaf pan and yields only 5 slices. Serve with strawberry topping or raspberry dessert sauce for the perfect cheesecake recipe to share with the lucky few closest to your heart (and your kitchen).

    Crรจme Brรปlรฉe

Flecked with espresso and flavored with pure vanilla, this is my favorite crรจme brรปlรฉe recipe. It looks white-tablecloth-restaurant fancy, but is shockingly simple to prepare and always wows dinner guests. Made with 6 simple ingredients, you can and will succeed when you follow my recipe for this iconic dessert.

    Small 6-Inch Chocolate Cake

This 1-layer 6-inch chocolate cake serves 4, so itโ€™s perfect for whenever you need a scaled-down cake. You can also use this chocolate cake batter to make a small batch of 6 cupcakes.

    Chocolate Hand Pies

Delicious chocolate hand pies come together with chocolate pie dough (!!) and an easy chocolate ganache filling. Iโ€™m confident any Valentine will adore theseโ€ฆ. who can resist a heart-shaped chocolate pie? Try my homemade chocolate pop tarts, too.

    Tiramisu

A truly special and romantic dessert! This tiramisu recipe is from the late Maida Heatter and is easily the best homemade tiramisu that Iโ€™ve ever tried.

    Gluten-Free Flourless Chocolate Cake

This rich and deliciously moist flourless chocolate cake is naturally gluten free. A 1-bowl cake recipe without any special tools or assembly required, this is chocolate cake MADE EASY.

    Chocolate Soufflรฉ (GF)

A quintessential Valentineโ€™s Day treat! My naturally gluten-free chocolate soufflรฉ recipe is heavily detailed to help give beginner bakers the confidence to try this classic French dessert.

Looking for more gluten-free Valentineโ€™s Day dessert recipes? Try these homemade French macarons.

Just One Giant Monster M&M Cookie

This recipe yields one giant monster cookie. Itโ€™s enormous and perfect for 2 people who love peanut butter and chocolate. I always make it for my husbandโ€ฆ and make him share it with me!

Just One Giant Double Chocolate Cookie

And one giant double chocolate cookie, just in case peanut butter isnโ€™t your thing.

And if you need some Valentineโ€™s Day breakfast ideas:

    Pink Party Donuts

Baked pink party donuts are flavored with vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg; covered in pink-tinted vanilla frosting; and topped with rainbow sprinkles. Itโ€™s love at first bite. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    8-Ingredient Homemade Crepes

I made the Valentine cookies and the children loved them. They taste extra good with the cream cheese. I just sprinkled the colored sugar on the top to decrease it a bit. We used dark and milk chocolates. Thank you!

Sally, THANK YOU for your Valentineโ€™s Day post! Once again, I used your site for my Family and Consumer Science class kitchen lab research to help them prepare for a special Valentineโ€™s Day cookie baking lab. Our maintenance guys happened to be working in our room as I gave the assignment and posted your images on my smart board. Needless to say they asked to be invited back on Monday for samples! Thank you for all you do to share and inspire the best baking message. Love the new website look! XOXO

My husband can be fussy but he loves chocolate. I have been making your 6 inch chocolate cake. A perfect size for the two of us! I also make chocolate sugar cookies with chocolate frosting and red and pink sprinkles. He always brings an empty tin home with requests for the cookie recipe! Thank you for making it fun and easy to spread the love, Sally!

I love that you have divided up your 36 choices into groups of 4! I usually just hit delete on blog posts that offer more than a handful of compiled recipes (10 is the very top of my attention span!). It just gets to be too many choices and usually a large number of โ€œjust okayโ€ choices at that! This format made the large selection much more interesting and I found a number of recipes to pin for next week!

The Red Velvet Kiss cookies are wonderful! I made them at Christmas with my grandchildren, and I was delighted that the method of putting the cookies directly into the freezer after topping with the Hersheyโ€™s Kisses actually WORKED to keep the kisses on the cookies! Flavor was good, making them grandchildren was great fun, and having the kisses stay of the cookies was fantastic! Thanks for the method.
