Stacker is on a mission to let anyone create software, by building a platform to let you instantly create apps from the data you already have. We were founded in 2017, and are backed by Y Combinator and Initialized Capital, two of the most successful start-up programs in the world that have produced companies including Airbnb, Stripe and Reddit. 🤩  Last August we raised $20 million at Series A through Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).

We want to change the way software is built...that's a pretty big task, and we've got some exciting problems to solve.

We're looking for a range of roles to help us grow further. 

Product Engineer: A Full Stack Engineer with “product thinking”, to help us build our platform that allows customers to run rich, flexible applications - all built without code. We're not for you if you're only interested in writing lines and lines of code, we want engineers that want to solve product problems e.g. getting involved with higher level discussions around functionality and usability of the product (both now and future).

• Creating a React-based app editor that lets users create software through their browser
• Building a backend that can connect to any data source, and simulate running complex data processes
• Taking programming language designs and turning them into flexible functionality that can be used by non-programmers
• Shipping new modules daily, which are used immediately by our users to make their apps work better and do more

Desired skills: React, Javascript and Python; entrepreneurial approach and mindset; experience of developing SaaS software within startup environments; added bonus if you have Django, PostgreSQL, Memcached, Elasticsearch, Docker/Kubernetes

Product Designer: We are looking for an experienced Product Designer. You'll be helping to set the tone and the direction of the product and how customers experience it into the future. It means hands-on design, lots of visuals and an adaptable mindset. You’ll want to create truly inspirational interactions that are compelling.

Desired skills: Extensive Product Design experience ideally within data-powered SaaS applications; Sketch or Figma (We use Figma); proven start-up experience and capable of wearing multiple hats in order to get the job done; would love to see evidence of a design portfolio at application stage.

Data Analyst: We're looking to hire our first-ever Data Analyst to help both our existing and new customers get the most out of the Stacker platform! Working as part of our Growth team, you'll be compiling and analysing data to improve our product offering and roadmap, developing visualisations to convey product and business insights, and collaborate with our tech, product and marketing teams on overall strategy.

Desired skills: Experience of analytics (In either Data, Engineering or Growth); have built BI tooling to enable insights; have used Looker, PowerBI or Tableau; Good SQL Programming capability
