On December 3rd, at 8pm, live on YouTube, we’re presenting the pilot episode of “Shut Up, Astoria”!

This is actual TV, folks.

This is not just some crappy Zoom reading of a script. It’s a fully-produced piece: rehearsed and shot live on a set in the weeks before Covid, edited, sound-mixed… and ready for the networks!

We don’t think any other indie company in New York has ever attempted a three-camera sitcom before.

Come watch history being made!

This exclusive event is just for friends, family and donors.

We cannot thank you enough for your support.

Originally, we were planning a gala affair, with the red carpet and everything… which of course is not an option right now. So, instead, get in your pajamas, log onto YouTube, and watch along with all our friends. The chat room will be open for comments. Then, at the end of the event, follow us into a Zoom room for a Q&A with the producers: Kate, Rob, Neil and Guy.

There’s no charge for the event, but there is a suggested donation of $15, and we’ll provide the link during the show or you can click here now:

https://www.groundupproductions.org/donate

RSVP to RSVP@groundupproductions.org, and we’ll send you the information on how to join us.

(And if you’re a donor who can’t make it that evening, we’ll be happy to arrange another way for you to watch.  Just email us at this address.)

Thanks so much! This is going to be fun.

Logline: As twins Scott and Laurie turn 40, they have no careers, no love lives, and they’re losing their home.  But they do have amazing friends.  Maybe that’s enough?
