Curious ❓ about LinkedIn Influencers, Top Voices, and Community Top Voices? The global LinkedIn Influencers program was "invitation 📨 only" and has been turned into the newer "Top Voices." These folks have a blue 🥏 badge which signifies their esteemed position within LinkedIn. The newest influence-type recognition on LinkedIn is also called "Top Voices" but is open to the community. In order to receive this gold 🏅 badge, you need to be selected as a result of your "noteworthy contributions" to collaborative 🗞 articles. The designation lasts 60 days. You can see my new Top Voices badge below in the screenshot. Notice it just below my headline. It would be an incentive to contribute more to articles if A) it meant that I had more visibility to my target audience and B) I knew how much I had to contribute in order to receive the badge. Yes, because I see the badge and distinction as a positive reinforcement to keep contributing to the articles. So, these distinctions are powerful motivators that encourage one to create content and consistently share knowledge.

It might make me more likely to follow the person or read the article but I'm not sure it would influence my decision to comment.
