Something I’ve never said out loud: I’ve helped 5 people become LinkedIn Top Voices. This makes me SO FREAKIN PROUD! 🙌 I’ve been called the “LinkedIn Top Voice Whisperer” and if you’re unfamiliar with Top Voice, it’s a list LinkedIn comes out with annually to recognize its top influencers. Take for instance, Mita Mallick, who took my course LinkedIn for Thought Leaders, and just 6 months later found herself on the Top Voice list. That’s the interesting thing about LinkedIn…whereas on other platforms you may need to slave away for years to gain traction and visibility (I’m looking at you, Instagram and YouTube), LinkedIn is a place where you can see results faster. LinkedIn IS terribly frustrating though if you don’t know the ropes, so I put together a presentation on how I was able to build a following so you can too. I’ll link it below. She had 2M+ followers on Linkedin. A kind hearted soul - The OG of Linkedin Influencers. Do you know Kirsty Bonner? She was one of the Biggest LinkedIn influencers before LinkedIn became what it is today. She served folks here selflessly with advices on how to improve their job search and more. Some othe rnotable names I can recall is Oleg Vishnepolsky, Ahmad Imam, Lacey Abbacchi amongst other who contributed a lot to building this place. One thing I've observed on LinkedIn is that if you like job opening-related posts, you'll see more of those in your feed. However, if you start liking posts from LinkedIn influencers, your feed tends to get filled with nonsensical talk
