Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate!. I hope you will have a wonderful day with family and friends and enjoy some really delicious food, of course. It will be low key here with our daughter, son, and my husbandβs mother. I had plans to make a new Lemon Meringue Dream Bar, but couldnβt find any lemon pie filling at any of the stores I went to. Donβt worry, I wonβt stop searching and you can bet it will be on the blog soon.
Iβm so glad it stopped raining here the past few days, I thought we were going to have to build an ark! Aaaannnnd, itβs going to rain again during the week. Iβll try not to float away. π

Slow Cookers can be a life saver any time of year, but especially when the weather turns warmer. So, when youβre having a craving for a lasagna, and also want a meal with a taste of Mexico, make this βSlow Cooker Mexican Lasagnaβ.

βBrown Sugar Glazed Carrotsβ are quick and easy to make with mouthwatering flavor. Whole carrots are boiled until tender, then tossed with butter and brown sugar giving them beautifully caramelized edges.

Love lemon, then youβre going to fall head over heels with this βLemon Poke Cake with Marshmallow Frostingβ. Itβs super easy to make because it uses a cake mix (yes, I use a cake mix on occasion to save time, but if you want to make it completely from scratch, you can definitely do that!), lemon gelatin, and either lemon pie filling or βhomemade lemon curdβ. Then youβre going to top it with some frosting that tastes like marshmallows. Itβs wonderful and a perfect Springtime dessert.

This βStrawberry Sauceβ is EVERYTHING!! You only need 3 ingredients and about 15 minutes to make it. I put it on ice cream, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and it ALWAYS tops our βCheese Blintzesβ.
Top your ice cream with some Strawberry Sauce!

Favorite Product of the Week:
Iβve used this Prepworks Multifunctional Dough Press Set to make my βPork Potstickersβ, and it made the process so much easier. I highly suggest using them if trying to manually fold the dough intimidates you and prevents you from making them. They come in three different sizes, so theyβll be perfect for making these βhand piesβ, too!

Tip of the Week:
Dry active yeast. If you store it in the freezer, it will help retain itsβ shelf life. This is great to do if you like to buy it in bulk, AND if you enjoy making my βGrandmaβs Italian Breadβ!
