A $7,500 buyer is a different person than a $75 buyer. Here are 5 keys to selling a high-end product: 1. Create a product that delivers a high-end return Price is a function of value created. There's a huge value difference between showing people how to sell ebooks and showing them how to sell homes. 2. Get clear on what customers are buying and what they value Are they paying to save time and money? Or to earn time and money? Are you offering a done-for-you service? Or teaching people how to do something themselves so they don't need to pay someone else to do it for them? You need alignment between what you sell, who you sell it to, and how you message its value. 3. Attract a high-end audience You can charge more for a job search product aimed at CEOs than one aimed at the unemployed. 4. Make the value obvious Communicate it in a way that's impossible to miss. Let potential buyers see or experience the product. Give them a small win before they even buy. 5. Build trust Leverage social proof, guarantees, and risk removal. Remove every possible reason your high-end audience might not buy. And remember... With a high-end product, those reasons are rarely related to price.
