Top New LinkedIn Company Page Features from 2022

What a terrific year of updates all across LinkedIn. Here at Post Road Consulting, we produce a monthly email 📧 newsletter with feature updates. It occurred to us that it would be helpful to pull out just those new features that specifically apply to company pages and create this article.

We shared over 30 feature updates of LinkedIn Company pages throughout 2022 in our email newsletter. We have organized them into TEN categories of enhancements to share with you today.

✅ 1. Company Page Newsletters 🗞

Companies can now write newsletters and get subscribers; just as individual creators have been doing.

✅ 2. Employee Verification ‼️

Organizations can verify employees by phone or email. We need this in these times of too many phony profiles. Check it out under the Admin tab of your page.

✅ 3. Comment as Your Page 📣

Page admins can now more easily respond as the page. This is an easy way to get greater company visibility.

✅ 4. Link Services to Page 🔗

Are you a service provider? If so, you can now link your services page to your company page for greater visibility.

✅ 5. Easier Invitations 📱

Invite new followers from the mobile app. Employees can also get into the action and invite their first-level connections to become followers too.

✅ 6. Attract Candidates 🧲

👉 Now you can add workplace policies, company benefits, and other info onto your company page that would be interesting for candidates. Check them out!

👉 Now companies can share their values on a company page with the featured commitments tab.

 👉 “Meet the Hiring Team”: Display the hiring manager and team profiles on job postings.

👉 Diversity Nudges: Companies that hire with LinkedIn Recruiter can get nudges to find DE&I candidates more easily.

👉 LinkedIn is currently offering a "Post a Job for Free" button on the top navigation

👉 Access to a Jobs tab on your page. Post to the feed automatically when you post a new job opening.

✅ 7. Be more strategic 🌎

👉 Upgrade your event strategy with advice from LinkedIn...... and learn about their new Events Framework. Learn more here

👉 LinkedIn launched the LinkedIn Collective for B2B marketers.

✅ 8. Product Pages ⚙️

Product pages are now here. This will allow your company's products to be discovered through in-platform searching on LinkedIn. Company admins can also use product highlights to showcase specific product-related content on the page and point interested members to it. Also, companies can re-share content from your product community to the main Page and add posts to your product highlights.

✅ 9. Updated Competitor analytics dashboard 📊

Use this to understand what competitors are doing and set your brand apart. Track follower growth, recent posts, and engagement; and discover what key competitors are discussing online. Stay on top of your industry by quickly surfacing trending content produced by competitors

✅ 10. Basic Page Set-Up Enhancements 🍎

👉 Now company pages will have more industries to choose from (up to 400) for their description section

👉 You can set up a simple lead generation form for your company page

👉 LinkedIn is rolling out Business Manager which is a centralized platform to manage ads, pages, and people.

👉 Company page admin functions are apparently moving over to the Business Manager

👉 Look for an updated admin layout for company pages. Nothing too major but a cleaner appearance.

So as to not avoid any confusion, I have a PERSONAL newsletter called "Sandra's LinkedIn Newsletter," which is also business oriented but with perhaps broader appeal.
