Want more clients from your content? I'll show you how.

Let’s improve your LinkedIn feed. For each post you find uninteresting, click the profile of the person who posted it. Review their last five posts. If none are interesting, unfollow them. Do that until you unfollow at least 10 people. You’ll be amazed how much better your feed gets.

Great advice Josh. I like to create saved custom searches too. They're great for a mini-feed for a subset of people: 1. Use LinkedIn's custom search and filter for posts 2. Refine the filter for specific LinkedIn users (up to 20) 3. Pick a date range (e.g. last 24h) and any other refinements 4. Save the search as a bookmark to come back to.

I like this way to systemize it. I've done it over the years intuitively: "Hey here's another post by so and so." "Is it helpful?" --> No "Ok but has her stuff ever been helpful?" *checks gut feel* --> No --> Unfollow The inverse is true as well.

Good to know Josh! The inverse is considering whether we are people whose posts are worth reading. My goal is to write the kind of posts I would want to read (books worth reading) and I haven't figured out how to do that on a daily basis. Despite being a daily LinkedIn reader, I think I've only written around 30 posts this year. I admire people who create meaningful, helpful daily posts!
