Ratings and Reviews
See AllAmazing App!
In an era where screen addiction is becoming a growing concern, Touch Grass offers a practical and effective way to encourage healthier device usage. This app helps users reduce screen time by allowing them to block distracting apps while providing reminders to engage in real-world activities. Its simple yet flexible approach makes it an excellent tool for those looking to create a better balance between digital and offline life. The issue with the Touch Grass app’s blocking system is that it relies on the user’s self-discipline, making it easy to bypass. While the app allows users to block distracting applications, it also provides the option to manually enable and disable them at any time. This creates a loophole where, instead of being forced to take a break, users can simply unblock an app whenever they feel tempted, effectively defeating the purpose of the restriction. Since there’s no mandatory cooldown or stricter enforcement, the feature functions more as a suggestion rather than a firm limit, allowing users to override their own restrictions with minimal effort
Great app I recommend
It’s good for if you’re always on your phone or whatever device you’re using this on because you can limit how much time you have and then touch grass locks those apps cause you allow screen time to block it like let the apps be locked until you touch grass so that like You actually are touching grass knowing that you’ve been outside like that you’re not like somebody that’s like oh I’m gonna sit here for two hours being like I’m just gonna do everything on my phone or whatever device you’re using so that I lock every two hours you did or whatever Max like time that you did for it on the app it’s really good app. I recommend getting parents. This is really good for your kids that they know their apps that they all the time and you can lock them with touch grass that they have to touch grass during the day and know that they’ve been outside five stars. I recommend this.
Great idea but really?
I truly believe that an app like this will be revolutionary for some people, but most of us don’t want to pay to have to go out and touch grass multiple times a day. The app itself is free, but I wasn’t expecting to have to pay to use it at all, especially since you already have to buy skips so you don’t have to touch grass then. This would be so much better if you didn’t have to pay for it, which I know probably sounds very picky of me, but not everyone who wants to use this wants to spend money on an app, even if it helps cut your screen time. Also, it’s a lot harder for the younger people trying to use this app who don’t earn that much just working at McDonald’s or something, and even if they got this for themselves, who’s to say the parents would always approve of it? I know parents are unlikely to, but they just might not want their kid to be spending money on an app that might not even help in the end. So as much as I wanted this app and hoped it would work nicely, it isn’t worth it to me, but to anyone who it would be worth it to, it will work wonders, of that I’m sure.
