I had spoken to an Apple professional that said it was impossible... So very happy to have Apple proven wrong... It is wonderful that I can now recognize and use my new printer. It blended in with our home network as if it was made for it...well, I suppose it was. We are really impressed with the ink supply. Long term is certainly great. Customer service is great! The few times I needed them, the reps were knowledgeable and eager to help. In the future, I will not go with any other printer.

    Smart Tank 7602: Can the Fax feature receive/answer automatically?

    Hello. Thanks for your question. Yes. The HP Smart Tank 7602 printer does require a landline connection for fax functionality. It needs to be connected to a working phone line to send and receive faxes properly. However, if you don’t have a landline, you can use HP Mobile Fax through the HP Smart app to send faxes. If you want to send and receive faxes, you can use a service like eFax.

    What is the difference in using Envy, LaserJet or Smart Tank? I currently use LaserJet. I have a small law practice both at the office and at home.

    Hello Shirley and thank you for your question! The HP Envy uses standard ink cartridges, the HP LaserJet uses Laser Toner, and the Smart Tank uses ink tanks that are filled with HP ink bottles. Typically lasers are required for law offices due to the fact that the documents are printed with dry toner and not ink so smudging is less likely.
