I wrote this LinkedIn article all the way back around Halloween in 2015. Can you believe it is still relevant? Do you know people who are still afraid of Social Selling? Or afraid of salespeople using social media to connect with prospects and clients? Today's savvy sellers know that they have more to lose by NOT being digitally connected and engaged with their prospects. #socialselling #linkedin https://lnkd.in/dVMVVVwb
Very good article
Great example of how important it is to take the lead and address fears in a proactive way. Thanks for sharing such classic wisdom Sandra Long.
I am always so surprised at how "scared" people are of being on this platform. How they trick up their names (last name first and such) to make it hard to find them. Or how they haven't posted a profile pic, or a banner photo, or make it difficult to connect by needing their email address to do so. Connections here are so valuable and there's so much information being shared - follow the experts in your area and help your business do better. Great job on your article and sadly, yes- it is still relevant today.
A very relevant piece to resurrect! You lay out the benefits when you use it and the pitfalls of when you don’t clear as can be. Social selling works like a charm for anyone who embraces it.
Helping sales teams with customized insights and analysis for those who plan, buy, or sell media.
3yGood article indeed. I have been droning on about it since 2004 . The real ah ha moment for me was 2008 meeting a high up communication chap at Juniper Networks. He told me about this thing called twitter and how he monitors what people are saying about Juniper. holy crap
