We are at week #4 of March ☘️ and Women's History Month. I have been spotlighting a new woman each week on LinkedIn for my network. I am fortunate to know some amazing women! Today I want to introduce you to my good friend Gail Lowney Alofsin Gail is a keynote speaker, author, and humanitarian. She is also a professor. AND she is a sales and sponsorship expert and leader. Humanitarian? Yes, she donates her book proceeds to charity. She has been helping people in Haiti for decades. Gail also serves on several non-profit boards in her community. Author? She wrote "Your Someday is NOW - What are YOU Waiting for?" and this title sums her up quite well. Fantastic book. 📕 Speaker? Yes, she speaks about positivity, leadership, productivity, employee engagement, sales, and sponsorship. People love her talks. Teacher? Gail is a professor at the University of Rhode Island, Salve Regina, and Western CT State University. Sales and Sponsorship Executive? Gail represents the Newport International Boat Show and I can tell you that she takes great care of her clients. As we close off March, let's recognize Gail as an amazing woman! Happy Women's History Month.

Taking Gail Lowney Alofsin ITR class this semester was one of the best decisions I’ve made at URI! She is a wonderful person and truly cares about each of her students. What a lovely way to appreciate such a lovely person! I have been so fortunate to call Gail Lowney Alofsin Professor, Supervisor, Mentor and Friend! I could write a book solely on how much I’ve learned in my time with Gail. I frequently refer to her as Wonder Woman and like many others aspire to accomplish as much as she has. I remember the first time I met Gail I asked her what kind of coffee she drank to get so much done in a day, to which she replied, “I drink decaf.”
