March has been exciting because it's Women's History Month - and I am spotlighting an amazing woman each week. This is week 3 and I want to tell you about Milena Erwin who is the Executive Director at Connecticut Technology Council I have been impressed with Milena since the first time we met. I got to know Milena when she first hired me to speak for the Women's Entrepreneurial Center associated with the University of Hartford a few years ago. I knew right then and there.......that she was a woman to know and watch and learn from. Milena is.............. ✅ A multi-lingual multi-cultural global business leader and educator ✅ First-generation immigrant fluent in English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Bulgarian (native language). She has worked on 3 continents. ✅ A long-time advocate for women in business ✅ A faculty member at Quinnipiac University ✅ A faculty member at University of Connecticut School of Business ✅ A business instructor at the Center for Women and Enterprise in Massachusetts ✅ Helped to expand the CT Business Matchmaker event to support diverse suppliers ✅ a speaker, presenter, program creator and facilitator…..and a wonderful person too!
