Meet Eric, my mover. Today on this nasty weather day, he and his crew moved us into our new home in New Hampshire. I like Eric’s attitude. I am a believer that a positive attitude is a top criteria for success. I would rather work with a “can do” person who is still learning than a know-it-all expert who is negative. When I first started my selling career, the only attribute I possessed was my attitude. For some crazy reason, I felt confident. And I just dove into learning everything. I had to because I knew nothing! Now as an older worker, I want to continue to be like my younger professional self and Eric. Do you believe that attitude is everything? Do you know anyone like Eric? What do you do to maintain positivity? #attitude #work #SandraLong #success #work

I think attitude is everything, actually. That said, having a circle of support beit large or small is necessary to help maintain that positive, forward-focused attitude. Flying solo is tough. Do I know someone like Eric? That would be you, my friend. That’s the truth. I’m very lucky that I have you as a sounding board as well as my two daughters Julie Hannan and Casey Hannan. It makes for a strong trifecta of sound thinking and postive attitude that I value a lot. Congratulations on your new home! The best is still ahead.

Sandra, can you send the rain to California? Lol. ☺ Congrats on the new home. Moving is never easy, but with wonderful, happy movers like Eric it does make it less stressful for sure. One's attitude can make you or break you.

Speaking my language my friend! And top leaders today recognize that finding the person with the right attitude and willingness to learn trumps a specific skillset. You can teach skills far easier than changing a person's outlook on life! Best of luck in New Hampshire, Sandra!

Sandra Long happy for your new beginning. A positive attitude is crucial for success and long-term happiness. Al Franken as Stuart Smalley said it best "I am good enough, smart enough, and doggone it people like me." It's not the magic bullet to acquire a job you want but it does keep you plugging away and/or lead you to other opportunities.

Attitude is crucial. It effects everything in your life, good or bad. I don’t think it’s possible to participate, achieve and succeed in life (however you define it) without a consistently positive attitude.
