I tested everything to grow to 100k followers. Here’s the strategy that actually worked. I’m an entrepreneur. I started posting in January 2022 with no clue what I was doing. I was posting daily. Sometimes twice a day. Even so, it took me months to get to 5k followers. It was incredibly frustrating. Most of my posts sank without a trace. Many were excruciatingly bad. But sometimes, I got it right. It almost felt like magic. I’d hit post, and the likes and comments poured in. I reverse engineered my best posts, and discovered an audience growth strategy that actually worked. And over the next two years, my audience grew to over 100,000 followers. Since then, I’ve created LinkedIn strategies for 50+ founders. These techniques have worked for me, and for my clients. 1 - HOOKS Get the click. Your prospect sees your hook. She stops scrolling. She cannot resist clicking “see more”... ...just like you did today. This is the most important content skill to master. Get the hook wrong, and nothing else matters. 2 - QUICK WINS People want a quick win. They avoid content that feels like a lot of work. Serve up a solution to their problem. Make it easy to consume. 3 - USE IMAGES Take up as much space as possible. Images occupy 1000% more space in the newsfeed. That includes photos, carousels, infographics and illustrations. Think of your images as visual hooks. Create curiosity. Get the click. 4 - RECIPROCITY Create reciprocity. Reply to every comment. DM people who leave likes and comments. Support their content. If you see them in your newsfeed, drop them a like. People will notice. 5 - CTA Just ask. This one is so easy. But most people don’t do it. Ask people to follow you at the bottom of each post. Ask for comments. Ask for reposts. It works. 6 - 90% VALUE Give value to grow. No one wants to be sold to with every post. Give value 90% of the time. Share your experience with Authority content Share your thoughts, ideas and insights with Personal content. Sell with case studies and testimonials 10% of the time. 7 - MAKE IT EASY TO CONSUME It’s social media, not encyclopedia. Use short sentences. Avoid complex jargon. Chunk 2-3 sentences together. Create lots of space. Make it easy for people. Like I’ve done in this post. 8 - WRITE FOR YOUR AUDIENCE Don’t be tempted to write for everyone. Grow the right audience - an audience of buyers. Remind yourself who you’re writing for. Make it clear who it’s for in the content. Finish with a postscript that states who you help, and what you do. (Hook) -> Crush it. They say in voice and non-voice if you're able to get the listener or reader engaged for 3 seconds, you're sold but providing the value within the next few moments.
Your Carasouels have truly be the jacks of your growth I still remember one of your post with free website audit (like real time) that's insane value over zoom Sam
When you had to start over and need to earn 10k within the next 60 days. What offer and strategy would you use? Btw. I love and enjoy your authenticity and transparency! Glad I found you and you are still going strong.

2wThis is such a helpful post, thank you. I have some questions Sam Browne 🦖 , is it necessary to have a defined postscript, what if you don't? What if one is just starting to figure and not established in a particular area? Is there an alternative?
