I’ve been wanting to read some niche books on finance and investing for a while. But since I love physical books, I found myself stuck—physical copies were quite expensive, and while Kindle versions were cheaper, I didn’t want to make the switch. As a result, I wasn’t reading at all. No new knowledge, no progress. Recently, I realized this inflexibility was holding me back. So, I bought a Kindle version for one of the books, and to my surprise, I enjoyed it. It wasn’t perfect—no physical pages—but it got the job done: learning new concepts and growing my skills. Immediately bought 3 other books on Kindle. This taught me a valuable lesson: be flexible on the details, but stubborn on the vision. The goal was to improve my knowledge, and though I adjusted my approach, I still achieved it.
