I hold a BSc in Applied Microbiology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, an MSc in Agricultural Microbiology from Federal University of Viçosa, and I am currently a PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University. I am a researcher with expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, and infectious diseases, focusing on microbial pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions, and genetic mechanisms that influence disease outcomes. My work involves designing and conducting experiments, utilizing advanced molecular and genomic techniques, and analyzing biological data to investigate microbial evolution, epidemiology, and antimicrobial resistance. In addition to fundamental research, I contribute to developing interventions to control infectious diseases, improve public health, and enhance food safety.
