3 content strategies I'd use to get customers if I ran a co-working space: 1. Share Tips From Current Customers In Their Areas Of Expertise One of the most valuable assets a co-working space has is the collective expertise of the people working there each day. I’d tap into that with a series of social posts highlight one piece of widely applicable advice from various customers. For example, a graphic designer who works there might share a tip on how to create good-looking social media images or a copywriter might share a tip on how to improve your product’s sales page. Publishing these posts on the co-working space’s social accounts would do 4 powerful things: • Showcase the expertise of its customers (and potentially send them some new business) • The people featured will likely share it on their social accounts, driving powerful word of mouth from your existing customers • Provide value to the working space’s social followers • Provide and “easy” and consistent stream of content • And most importantly, it will show the types of people who frequent that working space which will make it appealing to more of those types of people in the community 2. Create A Localized “How To Work From Home” Guide As A Lead Magnet This would be a helpful guide featuring hyper-specific advice for people who work from home in that community. Not only would it talk about how to be productive, but also stuff like the best walks to go on when you need to get out of the house, coffee/restaurant recommendations, etc. I’d promote with social ads targeting locals and get email addresses from people who download it. The guide will attract people who work from home and may be most likely to be interested in the co-working space. (That space will also be promoted within the guide.) I’d also potentially create a follow-up email sequence for anyone who downloads the guide designed to encourage them to check out the working space with discount offers and/or invitations to upcoming events in the space, etc. 3. Cross-Promotions With Local Businesses I’d connect with local businesses who have a clientele that fits the co-working space’s target audience (the clothing stores, bars, etc. where they might shop/go) and do simple cross promotions on social media or in newsletters. Basically I’d recommend our customers check out their business in exchange for them doing the same. This would: • Provide value to our existing customers by tipping them off to local businesses they’d enjoy (and maybe even giving them discounts). • Create a free way to get exposure to the target customer on a local level. • Be something that could be done on a recurring basis with partners - for example, each cross promotion happens twice a year maybe. — Want to know what content strategy suggestions I have to help YOUR business get more customers from their content? Btw: A version of these strategies could be applied to a bunch of other niches/businesses as well. 😉

The best part about strategy (in general) is its principled nature. I can see how the same concepts apply to newsletters and other areas: → Share Tips From Current Customers → Guide As A Lead Magnet → Cross-Promotions

Hi Garry, Hi Adam, this is useful from Josh, particularly point 1. It's all about mindset of the people who are part of the FOUNDRY space. I think it's a really strong angle.
