Description

This incredible FREE resource contains speech sound cue cards for 23 consonant sounds and 14 vowel sounds!

  • On the front of each card is the phoneme, a mouth visual, and a visual that represents the sound.

  • On the back of each card is a voicing icon, the written graphemes for the sound, place/manner/voicing prompts, and a real picture of a mouth.

I like to print them back-to-back and use the side that works best for each student. The back (with the real picture and written graphemes) often works better for older children.

These cards can be used to directly teach and scaffold success with speech sound production as well as to increase awareness of individual sounds that make up a word.

I've also included a table with all of the sounds and their child-friendly names that correspond with the pictures on each card.

I keep these cards on a ring and use them daily in my speech sound therapy! I know you will too.
