About the authors
Amanda is a National Board Certified teacher with oodles of experience in early childhood education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in Reading for grades K-12. You will often find her in her backyard exploring nature with her kids or doing a hands-on science project at the kitchen table. She loves to walk her dog and snuggling up with a good book when she isn't elbow deep in baking blueberry muffins in the kitchen.
Colleen Kessler believes that you are the absolute best teacher there is for your unique kiddo.
The author of more than a dozen books, award-winning educator, educational coach and consultant, and passionate advocate for the needs of differently-wired kids, Colleen has a B.S. in elementary education, a M.Ed. in gifted studies, and is the founder of the popular podcast and website Raising Lifelong Learners, as well as Raising Poppies, a community of support for parents.
Colleen lives in Ohio with her reading specialist husband, four delightfully chaotic kids, pug puppy, and a flock of backyard chickens.

Hi,
I am Holly. I am the mom of three boys. Three very active boys. I live with my husband and kids in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas.
I write Kids Activities Blog - http://kidsactivitiesblog.com & run the Quirky Momma FB page - http://facebook.com/quirkymomma about fun things to do with kids. My philosophy is that there is no need to spend money on kids crafts and activities when there are perfectly entertaining things to be made from the kitchen junk drawer.
Early on in my parenting journey, I realized that kid energy can turn to trouble when not exhausted in a constructive manner! I pulled from my experience as a Physical Therapist to find, create and direct ways to actively wear out my boys while having fun.
Play is an important part of our lives. Favorite family time activities are a trip to grandma & grandpa's house to visit the tree house and zipline, a day on the slopes skiing together, attending a Ranger game or a competitive evening of board games.
LIfe has been full of adventure so far, I can't wait to see what happens next...
Jamie Harrington is a writer, a mom, and all around fun person. She loves DIY, nail art, and crafting with her kid! When she's not blogging, or momming, you'll find her gaming and watching silly movies. She's a total sucker for a silly movie.
She is more social media obsessed than she should be, and spends so much time staring at her phone that her daughter once nicknamed it “phoney.” Jamie’s days are spent crafting geeky goodies with her kid, and her nights are spent in front of her favorite video games. Which means she never sleeps. Like, ever.
Kim Vij is a founder of the popular website The Educators' Spin On It www.theeducatorsspinonit.com where she enjoys sharing activities that make everyday moments into teachable opportunities since 2011. When she's not creating she's pinning ideas she's researched with their 1.6 Million followers on Pinterest.
After teaching for several years Kim moved from the traditional classroom to raise her 3 children and to be an advocate for early childhood education using a much larger platform online.
When she is not creating or pinning ideas for kids, you will often find Kim speaking at events, hosting twitter chats or discussing with a friend at a play date about how to help their child learn with developmentally appropriate strategies.
A community builder at heart, she served as an organizer of a local mom's group and as a school volunteer coordinator. With books close to her heart she enjoys Co-Organizing the Virtual Book Club for Kids and Love Books Book Swap.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!!
There are so many things in this book to do! I left the book on the table in the after-school club where I work, and so many of the children wanted to look through and find things that they'd like to do! We have a pretty long list!
