About the Growth Marketing Manager role

Our business hinges on attracting two different groups of people - clients, who want us to build custom software for their company, and no-code developers, who want to earn money building software for others. 

We’re looking for someone to manage our growth marketing activities aimed at attracting those two groups of people. Specifically you will:

  • Design and execute strategies, tactics, and systems for both generating client leads and finding new talent for our Partner program
  • Set up and optimize various paid advertising channels and campaigns, including Google, Linkedin, Twitter, Quora, and others
  • Manage our SEO efforts
  • Set up and track various metrics, ensuring that our inbound funnels are improving over time
  • Work with external service providers as needed to outsource various parts of our marketing strategy

Things we look for

We value a mix of hard and soft skills, as well as alignment to our core values, in all of our people. Some specific qualities for this role include:

  • Growth marketing experience:  The ideal candidate will have had 2+ years of experience with a wide range of growth marketing activities, including SEO, paid advertising, and others, preferably in a fast-growth environment.
  • Balance between strategy and execution: The ideal candidate should be able to take both a 10,000 ft view of a problem (e.g. what should our strategy be for this?) and a 1 ft view of the problem (e.g. what setting do I need to tweak in Google Analytics?).
  • Excellent communication skills:  The role will spend a large portion of their time working with stakeholders across Airdev, so the ideal candidate should be clear and structured in both verbal and written communication.
  • Analytical skills: Designing growth marketing campaigns can be logically complex, so the ideal candidates should be very strong conceptual and logical thinkers.
  • Proclivity for tinkering and setting up systems:  We believe in setting up low-overhead systems to help us manage every part of our work, so the ideal candidate should enjoy tinkering with such systems.
  • Interest in no-code:  Our work centers around building custom software without code, so excitement about the no-code movement is helpful to ensure that the role is rewarding.
  • Organization and track record of getting things done:  This role requires managing many projects at once, so the ideal candidate should be able to tackle and complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Love of intellectual & creative challenges:  The way our firm operates is very unique in the industry, so the ideal candidate should be able to solve challenges that arise in creative and unconventional ways.
