I was one of those first women in B2B sales, mostly because my Dad (Xerox branch manager) encouraged me early on to pursue a sales career. He saw first-hand the success of women in sales. The pioneering women of Xerox were doing it! Now I am LOVING reading Lori Richardson's book because she lays out exactly what companies can do to increase their sales results. EVERY company leader needs to read this book cover to cover, in my opinion. She explains how to most effectively attract, hire, promote, and retain women sales talent. There is also a compelling forward by Jill Konrath. I also got my sales start with Xerox. I found Xerox to be ahead of their time in terms of attracting, promoting and retaining women in the sales organization. I highly recommend Lori's new book, She Sells to any sales team who wants to be more successful.

Lori Richardson wrote such a timely book. Amid the layoffs people are still hiring and many want to hire more diversity and are paying attention to gender balance.
