The best thing about this recipe is that it uses just a handful of ingredients (and you probably already have them in your pantry). Get ready – pickle juice chicken is about to become your favorite dinner recipe! (From SimplyStacie.net)
Friday Finds | 01-24-2025 | Fun Time
I plan to stick with fun questions instead of trivia-type ones. I’m not great at creating questions that aren’t easy to look up on Google, so let’s keep them fun and entertaining while we get to know each other better.
This week, let’s talk about book genres. What’s your go-to genre when you need a spirit pick-me-up? Mine is usually a quick, cozy mystery, nothing too bloody or intense, and the romance is generally light.
Share your answer in the comment section to be included in the next fun-time drawing!
It appears that cake was the popular answer last week, and ever since those comments came in, I have been craving cake. Not just any cake, but good old-fashioned Texas Sheet Cake! The difference is in the pan. Check out the sheet cake pans here.

It’s been a crazy week around here. But, as far as I can tell, no new Indie Author News was reported.

Jessica D. Adams is testing my Indie Author Ad Spot on the sidebar. What do you think? Can you see yourself gracing this spot soon? I can also create a sidebar feature like the Eve Gaal Spotlight. Would indie authors be interested in this?

A well-written science fiction book always lifts my spirits.
I think the side-bars are very nicely presented. I like a friendly message that doesn’t hit me over the head. Great idea.
Thanks, Gary!
Love this yummy blog posts will all the goodies, crafts and book reviews, Gina.
Yes, the addition of Jessica’s work to your side bar is great and I think Indie Authors will enjoy this.
If I read a book to pick me up, it’s a children’s book! Buddy the Knight looks like something I would read!
