Omni AI is a spin out from SIDE Labs. Using off-the-shelf Voice AI components, we create a system that improves the efficiency of large-scale public-sector organisations.

We have a working prototype. We’ve got a launch customer, who has given us a budget to deliver a proof-of-concept and has ear-marked a significant implementation budget, if the proof of concept hits the mark.

We are looking for the second person in a team, working alongside SIDE co-founder Andy Bell. We’ll be working through challenges with the current prototype and finding the solutions that get this to launch.

Your role

  • Dedicated problem solver and do-er
  • User research - where do users think the current prototype falls short?
  • No-code system research - what components are currently missing? How can we bridge the gap
  • No-code / low-code implementation
  • System rollout - documentation, support.

For an entrepreneurially-minded person who wants to make a difference, this is an exceptional opportunity to put a ding in the universe. Voice AI is a coming wave. We’ve got a brilliant launch customer with an interesting problem - this allows us to start exploring where it can make the biggest impact. You don’t have to have experience as a Product Owner, but we are looking for evidence of good decision making and ability to make things happen.

Dates and details

  • Project runs for 4 months from October ‘21 to January ‘22. In success, this project will extend
  • We are looking for someone ASAP. Applications close on Friday 1st October
  • We are aware this is a slightly unusual and hard-to-explain opportunity. Feel free to email andy@sidelabs.org if you have any questions

Requirements

Ideally you’ll:

  • Have a consultant mindset - synthesising lots of information into an actionable plan
  • Be solution orientated - the goal here is to assemble off-the-shelf components in a way that delivers a great system
  • Be user focused - the ability to keep the users’s perspective in mind, no matter what directions different stakeholders are pulling us in
  • Show great software awareness - being a coder or having played with no-code tools extensively would be a big plus

Benefits

  • £2,000 to £2,500 per month, depending on experience
  • Open to part-time (Option of 3, 4 or 5 days per week)
  • Hybrid working: Ideally London (Kings Cross) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Working from home on the other days
