New Location - New Office! I have relocated and am in the middle of a two-stage move. 🚚 I left Westport, Connecticut (Greater New York), and am heading to Exeter New Hampshire (Greater Boston) ........however, I am spending two months in Vermont on the way. Here is my new temporary office view. Check out the pretty lake out my window. 🪟 Yes, I think I can handle this for the next two months. I supposed you could say that my moving is "covid inspired" because I can truly "work from anywhere." I just packed 🧳 up my laptop and tech gadgets, and here I am. Happy to continue my LinkedIn consulting and training from northern New England. Underlying Reason? To be near family. Will miss my wonderful CT life, but ready to start anew. And the good news is..... I will still be running back and forth for clients, friends and family. Have you changed your work location in the last few years? Are you more flexible - and able to "work from anywhere?" Would love to hear your story too. #linkedin #work #office #covid

Happy Thursday - That view looks amazing, Congrats on the move. In 2018 I moved from NYC (after 15 years of living there) to Orange County CA. It was quite the adjustment. I was already somewhat hybrid by that point but now I'm fully remote and meet occasionally for kick off meetings.. It allowed for so much professional development. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Good luck with your move to Exeter New Hampshire Sandra from someone who moved to Exeter Devon 11 years ago. Must say though your current view of the lake is amazing. I probably wouldn't get any work done.

Wishing you all the best with the move! Enjoy the new digs. Where in Vermont are you currently? Looks like a nice place!!

Give your employees (struggling with a death) the gift of practical support. Takes just 5 minutes. They'll remember your kindness forever. (See link below.)

That's a lovely view! Is your space a top-floor nook overlooking a staircase? (Trying to interpret the photo!) 😁

Yes I have; just last month! I moved to a townhouse 5 miles from where I was and got a new office in Paoli, PA! I’m still unpacking and getting settled, even though I downsized and got rid of lots of stuff. Happy moving!

Love this Sandra! For so many reasons. Because you took the action to fit the lifestyle you desired, and that the world and work situation now not only allows for it, but encourages it. It's about choice. And you are still focused on providing your clients with the best possible service, so it's a win all around. Best of luck to you! (and yes, to answer your question, as you know I did change my work location last year too. I am able to serve my people best AND be close to the ocean that energizes and calms me.)

How wonderful, Sandra - Congratulations! So happy you will be closer to family. My [30-something] children and their families are, for the first time in years, both within about an hour's drive, and that makes my heart sing 👩👧👦. Wishing you continued success, joy, and all things good on every front - and So grateful you will be continuing to impact us all in such a positive way with your thought leadership on all things LinkedIn.
