Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts- only 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of time needed to make these quick and easy donuts. They fry up super crispy and are then coated in melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
Definitely not healthy, but an improvement from deep-frying donuts. Plus there’s no mess to clean up. These grease-free donuts are quick enough to make on the busiest of mornings.
Ingredients needed to make Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts:
- One can of Refrigerated Biscuits– I use Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers but any refrigerated biscuits can be used.
- Butter
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Oil for spraying the basket- coconut oil works well for this recipe.
Equipment needed for this recipe:
- Air Fryer- I have both a Ninja Air Fryer and a Power XL Air Fryer and I love both of them.
- A biscuit cutter or small round cookie cutter to cut the holes in the biscuits.
Recipe Tips:
Air Fryers vary in how quickly they cook so use the cooking time as an estimate. Before you remove them from the air fryer, poke one of the donuts and make sure they aren’t still doughy in the middle.
I had no issue air frying the holes and the donuts at the same time, but you donut holes may be done before the donuts. If that is the case, just carefully remove them and cook the donuts a little longer.

Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts
Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts- only 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of time needed to make these quick and easy donuts. They fry up super crispy
Ingredients
- 1 (8-count) can jumbo flaky refrigerator biscuits
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
-
Use a small round cookie cutter or a donut cutter to cut a hole from the center of each biscuit.
-
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Air fry 4 biscuits, including holes, for 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
-
While they are air frying, combine the sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
-
Since air frying times vary, check the biscuits at about 4 minutes to see how they are progressing. Before you take them out, check the center of one to make sure it is not still doughy.
-
Dip them in melted butter and then coat them in cinnamon sugar.
-
Repeat with a second batch.
