About Us:

Apollo Scooters is a leading micro mobility company, proudly headquartered in Montreal, Canada. Short distance travel represents 80% of all trips we take, and Apollo is on a mission to make it better. We design and manufacture next generation vehicles that merge hardware and software into a seamless transportation experience. We are a small, dynamic team with big ambitions that managed to become a market leader within just 24 months.

A Day in the Life:

Imagine this: there’s a train arriving into a station but they're blocked by another train headed in the opposite direction that hasn’t left yet, and the secondary track is down for maintenance. The first train can’t leave, the second train can’t enter and everyone on the platform will be delayed in getting to work by over an hour.

If reading this made you stressed and frustrated, we understand. If your first reaction is a list of potential solutions and improvements, you may have just found your dream job. As the Operations Manager at Apollo, you’ll be working directly with members of the executive team to organize the chaos, implement optimized processes and build workflows for all branches of the business. We’re a team that is in growth mode and with that comes the need for a master strategist to help scale our “how”.

Looking for some specifics? Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Identify operational issues and concerns and develop turnkey solutions for them
  • Support our customer success efforts, both through implementing automated systems and process improvements
  • Test, maintain, optimize, and improve on existing automations and workflows
  • Document and organize internal knowledge bases for ease of access and use
  • Develop reports and dashboards to stay ahead of potential problems and recommend proactive solutions
  • Regularly review data on previously implemented systems to ensure new strategies are not repeating old mistakes
  • Manage the end-to-end completion of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Stay up to date with industry standards for operational and logistical analysis and improvement

What makes you a good fit:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience with the nocode SaaS stack: project management tools, cloud databases, and automation software (knowledge of Airtable, Notion, and Integromat/Zapier)
  • Systems thinker with a drive to find solutions and fix problems
  • Proven ability to successfully build workflows and automations from scratch
  • On the hunt for autonomy and regular challenges to conquer in a start-up environment
  • Resourceful and creative: you’re able to  “do more with less” when required
  • API fluency and the ability to implement low-code solutions is an advantage
  • Excited to collaborate with like-minded people and help scale a business
  • Comfortable interpreting and presenting data and statistics
  • Project management certificate or experience is a plus

The Perks:

Apollo is a young and promising start-up that offers a high-energy, start-up environment with ambitious and positive coworkers. We work for each other.
