This video explains what One Hot Encoding is and why it is used. One-hot refers to a group of bits among which there is only a single high (1) bit and all others are low (0). One Hot Encoding is a categorical encoding type used in encoding class labels in Machine Learning problems like Image Classification and Object Detection. It creates a space in which all classes are equidistant from one another. We take an example of the Sum of Squared Error to compare One Hot Encoding with any Simple Encoding Technique. This is the third video of our tutorial series about Artificial Intelligence for beginners that gives a basic introduction to the field of AI, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. ❓FAQ What is meant by hot encoding? What is the use of one hot encoding? Why is it called one hot encoding?
