Want more clients from your content? I'll show you how.

Want to get new business leads from the next issue of your newsletter? Here's a simple way to do it: Link to a piece of content that addresses the exact result your ideal buyer wants. Clearly state that result in the clickable link text. The content you link to doesn’t even have to be your own original content - it just has to speak to the result your potential buyers want. Then… After you publish the newsletter, check your stats to see which of your subscribers clicked that link. Every one of those people is a GREAT lead. Because you now know they want the result you sell. That’s why they clicked that link. They just raised their hand. Follow up with them individually or send a separate email to everyone who clicked that link to initiate whatever you do to turn leads into customers. An example: In a recent issue of my newsletter I shared a link titled, “How To Become A Better Copywriter In 10 Minutes.” 190 of my subscribers clicked it. Which means I now have 190 leads for any product I sell related to becoming a better copywriter. The best thing about this lead generation strategy? It costs nothing. You can do it in every issue of your newsletter. You can even do it multiple times in every issue of your newsletter. Give it a try and let me know how it goes for you. --- Want me to share more tips on how to use a newsletter to grow your business in future posts? Let me know. The better the reaction to this post, the more tips like it I'll share in the future. 😉

I've actually started doing this in my own newsletter Josh and the link click data is awesome. What's your particular method for reaching out to your 'click throughs'? Do you have a 'script' for that. And yes, I'd love more newsletter tips. :) Btw, anyone not subscribed to Josh's newsletter is missing out big time.

Brilliant. But I don't understand this part: > Clearly state that result in the clickable link text. I prefer raw URLs 😉
