Insert and Withdrawal Force Test

BKSTEC Insert and Withdrawal Force Tests simulate the force from someone inserting and withdrawing the cable to ensure the durability of the cable housing and cable connector.

A force is created when a cable is inserted or withdrawn from a device. Our Insert and Withdrawal Force Tests re-create these situations by simulating the force from someone inserting and withdrawing the cable.

Although the Insert and Withdrawal Force Test is normally done at the manufacturing stage, at BKSTEC, we have an additional test to ensure that our products are fully compliant with the HDMI and USB association standards. It also allows further inspection on the durability of the cable housing and cable connector.

How We Test

The cable is securely placed into the test machine and a rotating force is applied to put the cable through a stress test. The maximum insert and withdrawal force is recorded to make sure we meet the standards set by the HDMI and USB associations.
