Prayers and Advice Cards for Graduates

Prayers and Advice for the Graduate

Today I’m sharing some prayer and advice cards for graduates I designed several years back for some of my own children’s graduations.

We normally have a big party after the ceremony so that friends and family can help us celebrate our student(s)’ accomplishment. For several of those parties, I laid a stack of these free printable cards near the front door so guests could offer their best advice or a prayer for God’s blessing upon the honoree.

Fast forward a few years, and allow me to introduce our newest college graduate! Rebekah received her BSN from UT Tyler’s School of Nursing on Friday. But she asked me to postpone the party until she passes her licensing test later this month. So I’m honoring her wishes.

Rebekah's Graduation

Instead of throwing a party, we took her to Missouri for a short family vacation, much of which she has spent with her nose in a book, preparing for her exams. God must’ve known she needed the extra time for study, as it’s been kind of overcast and rainy ever since we arrived, which has forced us to spend most of our time indoors, anyway.

On the car ride up, Rebekah was reading to us some of her favorite pieces of advice. Which reminded me I have a fun way to collect more for her, when the time comes:

One more resource that deserves a mention is Summit Student Conferences. This 2-week worldview program teaches young people how to defend their faith in a culture that is increasingly hostile to Christianity.
