I greatly admire all you professional speakers! (I prefer facilitating small groups myself. :)) However, we share a desire to engage, connect, and facilitate growth.

Thanks for letting us know about today being Professional Speakers Celebration Day, Sandra Long! I just got back from my first in-person speaking engagement in a several weeks, and was reminded about how much I appreciate the opportunities for personal engagement you get in these environments. Like you, I love to hear the questions and concerns of the audience members and to learn from them. One of the attendees told me afterwards that she hadn't been all that interested in using LinkedIn prior to my presentation. But after coming to my talk today , called "How to Have a Love Affair with LinkedIn," she is much more inclined to start using LinkedIn more.

I love when people come up to me after I get off stage and share their personal stories of how my talk resonated or inspired them Sandra. It’s one of my favorite parts. 🙌

I truly love speaking professionally! I love the conversations after and making connections that last. When a light goes off, and people realize how much influence they have on others. There are times, even years after a presentation, that I will hear from someone that learned something new, and they say "thank you". And one more thing - it is a lot of FUN!!! And I love the F word - FUN!!!!

I LOVE being a professional keynote speaker. It’s an honor to strategize with the clients to achieve the event vision. To engage and inspire an audience to action. To move people. Wouldn’t trade it! Congrats to you Sandra…and to all my speaker friends out doing what we do.
