    I first got this book as a $2.99 e-reader purchase but it was so good that I decided to get the paperback version to take with us. We are going to Todos Santos (North of the more popular and touristy Los Cabos) in October. This is better than the Fodors version. Buy it instead or buy both. But this one is much better if you, like us, are looking for quality art and/or crafts.

    I wouldn't recommend to buy this book, the font size is too big so from the beginning you see it's just to fill out more pages. Too much information about restaurants instead of information about the place or different towns in the area, it needs more about what to do and tips. Spend your money buying a better book.

    I loved this writer's Mexico City guidebook (it introduced me to my favourite tostada spot in the whole city) so when I saw she had a guide to Baja California, somewhere I need to visit more, I snapped it up. I love Laura's style and her obvious joy at sharing her knowledge with others. I can't wait to use this on my next trip to Baja California. If you've ever seen her photos on social media then you KNOW she knows her stuff when it comes to food.

    It felt very much like just a list of a few places to eat/sleep in some of the towns. A list of a few things to do. No detailed information on travel in Baja Sur. Just print with big white border space. Would simple black and white maps added so much to the cost? No, this was not worth the cost.
