Lucas keeps to himself and just wants to take care of his daughter Rylie His attraction for Valentina is instant and intense. He does not want a relationship but does not seems to be able to stay away from her. Valentina is an open and kind hearted person and does not want to be hurt by Lucas. They both have some decisions to make and hope they make the correct ones. This is a nice story with great characters that you will love. I really like this series and look forward to the next story. I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion.

Book two in the swoon series has lived up to the series name. Great characters, good storyline, sad moments, funny moments, sexy moments and 'swoon' moments had me reading this in one sitting, I just had to finish it to see what happened. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an ARC.

3.5. It was just above ok mainly because of Valentina's personality. The author called it slow burn but it just felt like repeating the same thing over and over in slightly different ways.
