Boundary Training for LGBTQIA2S+ Rostered Leaders
Boundary training workshops are offered so that rostered ministers can spend intentional time alongside colleagues. It is an opportunity to frame the boundaries we keep; encouraging healthy space to care for ourselves and ways we can interact lovingly to support encounters that are safe and beneficial.
This training is open to all seminarians, deacons and pastors who identify as LGBTQIA2S+. This will be a brave and honest space for discussion and mutual learning and support, specifically addressing healing church trauma, trauma-informed care, safety in spaces not trained in LGBTQIA2S+, cultural competency, and active support of LGBTQIA2S+ youth and adults in congregational spaces.
