I asked this 1 question to my client. And it changed the entire business goals, on LinkedIn. I asked: "As we consider your personal brand, where do you see yourself on LinkedIn for the next 3 to 6 months?" Before I asked that question, her answer was to get clients. After I asked that question, she took a few seconds to think. Her final answer was: Gaining visibility. Here are a few strategies we've discussed to do just that: 1. Banner There are 2 kinds of banners. - First banner: A value proposition, call-to-action, services offered, and testimonial. - Second banner: Only value proposition. Since she wants to gain visibility, I focused on her newsletter (value proposition). That way, she can attract her potential clients to sign up for her newsletter, and warm them up outside LinkedIn. 2. Headline With her vast experience, it was challenging to be specific. However, I made her headline more specific with this formula: I help [target audience] to [solution] with [your unique framework]. Simple. 3. Call-to-action (CTA) CTA must be placed in 3 areas: - On the top left-hand corner of the banner. - On the link below the headline. - On the first featured section. Here's the final CTA: "Book your 1:1 free consultation call" 4. Content strategy We used 2 content pillars for her niche. - Sustainable business. - Leadership. We combined them with my 3 content pillars, using my EAP framework: - Educational - Authority - Personal Now, she has limitless content ideas! These are just some of the strategies we went through.
