Look I am not knocking co authored books. They are great collaborations, they can often be hugely cathartic and so much fun to participate in. But any strategy they have is not tailored to your specific business needs. I’m sat here on a Sunday afternoon, 5:30 p.m., and I can’t believe I’m about to say this out loud, but here it is: ✨I’m on my way to becoming a published author. No, I don’t have a publisher (yet!). I’m still figuring out if the self-publishing route is the one I want to take, but what I do know is that I’ve written 20,000 words so far, and it has just poured out of me. 🔥I know so many of you transitioning from corporate to entrepreneur are going to love this book! Right now, I’m in the thick of it—writing my story, working out the best way to share it, and thinking about how I want to approach the next steps to getting it out there. I’ve been connecting with publishers, reaching out to authors, and really putting myself out there to understand this whole process. If any of you have gone down this path and have wisdom to share, I would be so grateful. Advice, guidance, or even just a little encouragement from those who’ve walked this road would mean the world to me. I have to admit, this post feels vulnerable. To say out loud, “I am going to be a published author” is both exhilarating and surreal. But putting this intention out there feels like the beginning of a new chapter…not just for me, but for my brand and my business. Here’s to stepping into this next era and making it happen, one word at a time.
