Is 10x easier than 2x? Benjamin Hardy, PhD convinced me it is in his new book. 6 concepts that jumped out at me: 1. "There are many paths to 2x or linear progress, which is one reason it's ineffective and overly complex to go 2x. There are few paths leading to 10x, making the goal simple and highly effective. Again, almost nothing will work for 10x, which is why it's so useful." 2. "You have to think exponentially. A 10 percent better video gets 4x the views, not 10 percent more views. Triple the amount of time you're putting into that video because you're not going to get triple the views, you're going to get 10x the views." - MrBeast 3. "It isn't 10,000 hours that creates outliers, it's 10,000 iterations." - Naval Ravikant 4. "Always be the Buyer. In every social situation, you're either being a Buyer or a Seller. The difference between a Buyer and a Seller is the Buyer can walk away. The Buyer is not desperate to be there. The Buyer is the one who does the rejecting, whereas the Seller is the one who gets rejected." 5. "Research shows that confidence is the byproduct of past success, more than the cause of future success." 6. "If you're going 10x, you're not a manager...Managers don't go 10x. You're a visionary and Transformational Leader. Leaders don't manage. They build teams of leaders that manage themselves." *** A question for you: What's the best book you read recently?

Haven't thought about this before – I like this challenge to think in 10x instead of 2x. Thanks!

Great minds… “Who not how” was great so I had to jump into this one. Highly recommend the audio version because Ben and Dan do mini interviews between chapters. For other books, I’ve be going back to some older ones lately and re reading them. “Do the work” by Steven Pressfield and “Key Person of Influence” by Daniel Presley are fantastic.

I read Benjamin’s Be Your Future Self Now and thought it was excellent. Love the insight you pulled from his new book, Josh, and will read it next. Currently, I’m finishing One Thing by Gary Keller and also find it insightful. I appreciate the actionable steps and illustrations. Most of these books of a similar purpose are pointing to the same thing and that (one) thing is wherever we choose to focus.
