    An absolutely marvelous book! Also a wonderful addition to the Chasing Fire series. Jayne Price is director of the Wildlands Academy which is a summer camp that teaches kids fire safety and how to fight forest fires. She raised her son at the academy and he is now a member of the Jude County Hotshots who are fighting the wildfires in the area. Charlie Benning had a rough marriage and even worse divorce. But he did have a wonderful daughter though she has been estranged from him until recently. He has been on the rescue squad in Last Chance County and now a member of the Hotshots in Jude County. There is a lot of danger, secrets to be discovered, and excitement along their journey. Be sure to pick this book up to read.

    I am in love with this series! Each book comes out and I devour it within hours. I’m waiting for the next one! They all follow the same team, the Hot Shots, but they focus on different members of the team. So you get an in-depth look at each of them. This book actually gave us more of an up-close look at two members. Who we learn are actually father and son.

    But I don’t want to give away too much of the book so I’m not going to go into details.

    Charlie.
    Oh, he’s the oldest guy on the team. Much like a father figure to the crew. He’s had a lifetime of experience. But what happens when he finds out that he IS the father of someone on the crew? And what would happen if the team or his family found out his awful secret?

    Orion.
    He was raised by a single mom, Jayne, who runs a camp that teaches kids how to be Hot Shots or fire jumpers or really just how to survive and fight fires if you will. So it’s no surprise that that is the path he chose in life. But what happens when he finally learns who his biological father is? And that he actually knows him? Has met him and gotten to know him as a person before all this came out?

    I loved this novel. These guys were great to get to know and I enjoyed getting to know Jayne and Alexis as well. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up and all the recommendations!

    My thoughts: Firestorm is a action-packed romantic suspense that will keep you engaged and glued to the pages. I fell in love with the main characters and had to look up fire tornadoes as I never heard of them before. There must be something to see in real life a little scary.  I cared about both of the main characters and the secondary characters. I love this series and I'm sure you will too. This book stands alone but there is some continuing suspense from earlier books. Don't miss Firestorm. Available now. I'm a verified buyer and all opinions are my own.

    For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:

    This installment was hard-hitting and suspenseful, and at some points, I just wanted to scream at the characters; there were so many secrets. This series keeps getting better and better. I love the continued storyline from book to book without taking away from the main couple the story revolves around. Firestorm ran the gamut of emotions between four characters that were interconnected. Charlie's chronic illness and how he was planning on dealing with it is a common feeling among those in that community; how Jayne helped him see the good and hope in the future. I hope we get Orion and even Alexis & the other camp kid's stories in the future. I can't wait to see where we go from the continued storyline with the next couple.

    These books on fire chasing and with law men and women die by others in books ,it is nature wind and fire , how it goes ........this book that such a lot but Charlie a older fireman has kidney failure ,Jayne and Orion who Charlie is the father etc I hope that there is another, it is me what's next with them
