Start giving your newsletter subject lines the respect they deserve.

Peter Duris Just read your newsletter about "Hey, hanging" and have some thoughts about the Time To Resound when longer messages are sent. Instead of relying on the urgency of the unknown, it'll be easier for recipients if you send 2 messages, one right after the other. 1st, get their attention and establish expectations. Message 1: "I need a (level of detail) response to the following message by (deadline) about (1-3 word summary)." Message 2: the details necessary for a considered response.

Can you still call it Frequently Asked Questions if not all the questions get asked frequently? How about if no one has ever asked but you suspect people are thinking it? No. Teaching is the upper green circle. Nothing wrong with that at all. The bottom represents the job scope of a teacher and what a teacher needs to think about whilst teaching. To complete the pie 🥧, professional development, collaboration, differentiation, doing the right thing yourself, reporting, taking accountability, knowing how to approach learning and can practice that with a diverse age group, creating tangible and out of box results amongst others should also be there. It is true that a part of people are not fully aware of the scope and skills teachers have. Teaching, however, still is teaching.
