Here's an AI prompt to turn long-form newsletters into banger LinkedIn posts in just 10 minutes (without losing your voice): Context: Usually I like to test content ideas on LinkedIn first. Then, once I've gathered some signal, I expand posts into newsletters. But sometimes I just rip long-form pieces without doing any "validation" first. The problem is? If you want to post those long-form pieces on LinkedIn, you need to edit them down. And that process can be extremely draining. That's where this prompt comes in. This prompt will help you draft a LinkedIn-friendly version of your long-form emails in just a few minutes. The best part? It will follow your writing style super closely so you only need to make minimal edits. Here's the prompt: I just finished writing an in-depth email about [your newsletter topic] and I would like your help creating a compressed version of this email that I can post as a LinkedIn post. So here’s what we are going to do: I am going to share with you my email so you can review all the content. Then, I want you to create a compressed version (1,500-2,000 characters max) that only covers: - [Key/important section] - [Key/important section] - [Key/important section] Now, there’s a few guidelines to keep in mind: - We want to start the post with a punchy two-sentence hook that makes a clear promise about what the reader is going to "get" from reading the post. If possible, we want to use some kind of number of money figure in the hook. - In addition to that, we want to make sure we're only using one-sentence paragraphs for this LinkedIn version of the email. That way, we can keep it skimmable and easy for people to read. - Similarly, when it makes sense, we also want to use bulleted lists to make the post easier to skim and read. - Lastly, even though we want to compress the email, we still want to follow my writing style and voice as closely as possible. So please mimic the way I write. And try to use the same language and the same terminology I use in the email. --- And there you have it! Next time you write a banger newsletter, you can just: • Copy/paste the prompt • Fill in the placeholders • Save yourself an hour of deep work PS - If you found this helpful, don't forget to bookmark & share this post with a friend.

I've been using a similar prompt, the only thing I have not tried is to do it in the same tone as the draft. Will try this next time.

Banger as usual! I literally used another one of your scripts just 30 minutes ago to split one newsletter into separate posts. xD. Love it! P.S. The workshop was awesome!"
