Here are 5 things to do on your LinkedIn mobile app today. 😀 Most of these can ONLY be done on the app. 📱 ✅ Send an audio or video message to a valuable connection. This will make your note stand out from all the text messages. ✅ Record your name pronunciation - it's a sweet ten-second opportunity to let people hear your voice and learn how to say your name properly ✅ Validate your profile to let people you are you and not a fake. ✅ Use the QR code feature to connect with someone you meet today on the spot. No business card necessary anymore. ✅ Snap a picture and create a post. Share your insight or tip. Will you use the LinkedIn mobile app today? Let me know if you use it every day or just occasionally. Will you follow any of these tips? Inquiring minds want to know your ideas for the mobile app too. #linkedin #mobile #mobileapp ----------------------------------- Sandra Long Post Road Consulting: LinkedIn and Social Selling Training
Great list! Knew about the QR code feature. I've used that occasionally. ✔ Think I'll take advantage of the audio and message send function. For me that will come in very handy. ✔ Good to know about the others. I'll keep them in mind. As always, thanks Sandra!
QR code is very handy. I also downloaded it and saved as a photo to share.
I wish more people would use the record name pronunciation. Sometimes it's difficult to guess, but I manage to get it right around 50% of the time. 😊
Thank you!
Record your name pronunciation - I use it also to introduce myself. It's a pretty neat hack
I'm not a fan of the mobile app's design, but now I'm wondering if I can overcome that prejudice! Thanks for showcasing these extras, Sandra.
Excellent tips! The QR Code was a gamechanger for networking events. And I love the audio/video messages. You're right, Sandra Long, sending a message like that helps you stand out in a sea of sameness!
Thanks for the tips Sandra! I've been contemplating on getting 'verified', but every time it asks me to upload my govt ID, I stopped, especially with all the cyber incidence online these days. I guess I'm just a bit cautious. ><
The video one is awesome!

3moThanks for the valuable tips, Sandra Long! I would add one more: Change your password regularly -- and add Dual-Factor Authentication. Over the past week, someone in Kentucky has tried multiple times to log in to my account (as LinkedIn email notifications have informed me). It's a nightmare when someone hijacks your identity...so, well worth the extra, precautionary steps.
