It was a good year for new features. 😀 We had so many new ones introduced to us by LinkedIn during 2023. In this newsletter article, I am focused on my favorite five. Yes, I picked only 5 to discuss. I hope you can let me know YOUR favorite new feature for this year, whether it is on this list or not. Wishing my connections a wonderful holiday too! #linkedin #linkedinfeatures #2023year

Sandra Long , thank you for sharing these top five features! I gifted myself LinkedIn Premium for my new year celebration and I'm looking forward to exploring it. You've got me intrigued by collab articles, and you have me sold on newsletters. I love being in your circle, my friend!

Collaborative articles is my favorite new feature! Social media is all about the sharing of information, and we all have a viewpoint and many people in this platform have considerable knowledge and expertise. What I like about collaboartive articles is that it really demonstrates what social media’s greatest value is and that is the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience. It also reinforces the positivity of commenting and avoids the many negative aspects of commenting on the other platforms that you see in the forms of attacks and criticism of ideas! And I encourage people to use one of the features of collaborative articles, which is the up vote or down vote and you’ll see that in many cases and many times peoples opinions are getting up votes! I encourage everyone to participate and share your knowledge, wisdom and experience and help elevate your personal brand and value on the platform!

Thanks, as always, Sandra, for bringing forward all the great features of LinkedIn and making them so actionable for all of us. I'm always learning every time I click on one of your links!

My problem with the collaborative articles are two fold: 1. Most responses are 100% AI generated. 2. LinkedIn uses it to train its AI. So AI is training AI, not the best way for LinkedIn to get human sounding AI, if that’s the goal.
